Ratings are close to perfect on both major platforms, and the praise is unusually consistent. Best suited to first-timers curious about free fall, and to anyone weighing up a real parachute jump. Visitors single out the instructors far more often than the technology. Worth planning around if you are anywhere on the Ljubljana–Postojna corridor, and worth a detour if you are not.

Traveler Insights
Combined public visitor ratings from Google and Tripadvisor. Last verified August 2026.
Instructors are described again and again as patient, funny and genuinely enthusiastic, and several are named in reviews. Nervous visitors say they were talked into confidence rather than rushed through. The free-fall sensation is reported as far more realistic than expected. The instructors’ own demonstration flight at the end is a highlight in itself. Families note that children and grandparents were looked after with equal care.
Two minutes of airtime feels substantial in the tunnel but reads as very little on paper, and several visitors immediately bought more. Communication inside the chamber is by hand signal only, because the fans make speech impossible. The briefing and changing rooms can get warm, which visitors mention on summer days. Flying is more physically demanding than people expect; arms and shoulders ache the next day. Long hair must be tied back and jewellery removed before you can be fitted with equipment. The lift is currently out of service, so a wheelchair or stroller can only reach the first-floor wind-tunnel and spectator level if it is carried up the stairs.
Best for complete beginners, couples, groups of friends, birthday and team-building groups, and skydivers who want tunnel time. Also strong for families with children old enough to meet the age and weight limits. Less ideal for very young children, who may be below the minimum weight, and for anyone unwilling to sign a health declaration. Less ideal if you need a half-day out from a single stop. Pairing it with a longer indoor visit such as the Technical Museum of Slovenia at Bistra, about twelve kilometres back toward Ljubljana, makes the drive worthwhile.
Turning up without a reservation. Advance booking is required. Arriving at the exact slot time instead of the ten minutes early the operator asks for. Booking the shortest package and then wishing you had bought more airtime. Wearing loose clothing or slip-on shoes instead of close-fitting sportswear and laced trainers. Assuming a group package means each person flies for the full time. The block is shared between participants.
Choose the four-minute package over the two-minute one if the budget allows. The second flight is where body position finally makes sense. Stay for the instructor demonstration at the end. It is the most spectacular part of the session and costs nothing. The viewing area is open to non-flyers, so friends and family can watch without buying a package. It is a strong rainy-day option, but thunderstorms can still cancel flights.
Children who were nervous beforehand are often described as the most enthusiastic afterwards. Instructors adapt each flight to the individual child rather than running a fixed routine. Family packages divide a block of tunnel time between up to six people, which suits mixed-confidence groups. Separate children’s flights for visitors up to twelve are priced below the equivalent adult flights. Non-flying siblings and grandparents can watch from the viewing area, so nobody has to wait outside.
You may photograph or film your own flight for personal use. Anything beyond that has to be arranged with the venue in advance. From the spectator area at chamber level, a fast shutter speed helps freeze the movement of faces and fabric in the airflow. The chamber is well lit, so a phone copes well from the spectator area. A souvenir video is sold separately; commercial photographs are not offered.
Visitors consistently describe leaving elated and immediately planning a return, often booking another flight before they have changed out of the suit. The short duration is the only recurring criticism, and even that usually arrives phrased as wanting more rather than feeling short-changed. Value for money is occasionally questioned, since two minutes of airtime carries a real price, though the same reviewers usually conclude it was worth it. What stays with people is the combination of being held up by moving air and the warmth of a team that clearly enjoys its work.
