• Nickname and chosen public display name

• Account and email-verification status

• Optional marketing preference
• Security and audit information needed to operate the account

Why we use this information

We currently use this information to create and operate the member account, authenticate and verify users, provide requested account functions, maintain platform security, record applicable legal and privacy choices, and communicate important account information.

Optional marketing communications are used only when the user has separately chosen to receive them.

Public information

Private account information is not automatically made public. Where public participation is available, the public identity selected by the user may be displayed, such as first name and last initial, full name, or nickname. A profile image may also be shown where applicable.

Retention and service providers

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant account, legal, security and operational purposes. Detailed production retention periods will be defined before the affected features are launched.

ExploreInSlovenia may use technical service providers required for hosting, email delivery, security and platform operation. Production disclosures will be completed before public launch.

Your rights and contact

Depending on applicable data-protection law, users may have rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and data portability. Optional consent such as marketing consent may be withdrawn without affecting the account.
